Best Wishes Bass - Stampin' Up! Best Catch

A quick post today to share a masculine birthday card.  I'll be sorry to see Best Catch retire but until then I'll try to get a few more cards out of it!

I used the Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this layout.  I was proud of myself for using some retired DSP as well as the Crumb Cake Stitched Nested Label I have had sitting in my card parts pile for a while.

I actually have no idea if this fish is a bass or not but I thought the title alliteration sounded good so I went with it!  The bass is stamped in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with Blends.  I cut it and the cattails out with the coordinating Catch of the Day dies.

Using a bit of burlap ribbon and a narrow strip of Soft Sea Foam for the sentiment I created the narrow divide shown in the sketch.  I popped all the other elements on various heights of dimensionals and finished with a few retired candy dots.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?
