As soon as I saw the new Sweet Days of Autumn DSP that was just released with the new scrapbooking line of products I knew I wanted to do a card with the animals on one of the paper designs. They are adorable and perfect for fall cards. A tiny bit of fussy cutting and a little stamping and I've got a clean and simple autumn card. The inspiration was from the current Paper Players challenge which is a clean and simple card with any plant or animal. I went with both!
I started with a Basic White thick card base and stamped the line of trees from the Autumn to Remember set in Mossy Meadow. I drew a light pencil line about one inch up from the bottom to help me get my trees in a nice even row and then just erased it when I was finished.
The bear and leaves were fussy cut and the leaves are adhered with glue and the adorable bear is popped on dimensionals.
The scale of the elements called for a smaller sentiment so I grabbed the Choose Happy stamp set and used the Hello and Autumn stamps to create the greeting in Cajun Craze ink.
This style and the variety of animals in the DSP would work really well for a set of notecards. I'm thinking they would be perfect for a hostess gift for a Thanksgiving gathering! I'll have to add that to my list of things to stamp!!
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?

Marvellous! I love that clean CAS look that you've created with a line of stamping and lots of open space. The scene is gorgeous and the two fluttering leaves above the trees is just the finishing touch. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
