Christmas Sampler - Stampin' Up! Festive Post

   Monday, Monday, Monday!  Back to the grind today.  I hope you all had a nice weekend and lots of relaxing was done.  We had our first soccer game in 6 months so it was nice to have that 'normal' back.  

  My card today was made for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown which has already closed but the layout was what I used so I wanted to give credit where credit is due. I enjoyed pulling parts of different sets together to create 3 circles that worked well as far as scale.

  The card base is Shaded Spruce with a layer of 'Tis the Season DSP on top.  I pulled the colors for the rest of the card from the DSP for a nice cohesive look.

  The first circle features a Tree Angle Christmas tree using Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce ink for the top and Soft Suede ink and paper for the trunk.  A gold foil star is the topper.

 The middle circle is the reindeer from Festive Post inked in Soft Suede.  The snowflake are from Snowflake Wishes stamp set and stamped in Pool Party.  I gave the reindeer a Real Red rhinestone nose. 

  The third circle is a poinsettia made from the Wreath Builder dies and the Red Velvet paper.  I cut 2 layers and between them I added a gold foil circle before popping the top layer on a mini dimensional.  The leaf is cut from Green foil and tucked under the bottom layer of the flower.

  Finally the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set and stamped in Shaded Spruce.  I flagged the end and then added a smaller flag behind in Red foil.

  I had a lot of fun pulling images and dies from different sets to create this layout.  This is also a great design to show off some smaller Christmas images from different sets.  You could swap them in and out while sticking with a basic color theme.  Bells, snowflakes, elves, holly, bows, ornaments and doves could all be featured on a circle.
