If you love creating nature scenes with die cuts then the Light & Wonder die set is for you! I don't usually get these types of sets but the Lights of Aurora DSP that coordinates is absolutely gorgeous so I thought I would give it a go. And wouldn't you know it the first card I make with the dies doesn't even use the DSP! I thought the colors from the As You See It challenge would work really well so the night skies will have to wait until next time! And perfect timing to have a card for Testosterone Tuesday because we all need guy cards!
Not half bad right? Starting at the back, I decided on a Cloud Cover base then worked my way forward with the layers. Next are the 2 sets of mountains, one in Timid Tiger and the other in Pumpkin Pie. I punched a small circle from Pumpkin Pie, sponged the edges with the same color ink and then used the brush tip of my Secret Sea Stampin' Write marker to define the edge of the sun even more. Then I tucked partially behind the mountain and added the die cut clouds.
For the trees I cut them twice from Secret Sea and layered them with the front trees cut apart.
Next in the foreground I cut the water out of Cloud Cover and added the white embossed sentiment. The sentiment is from the With You In Mind stamp set. I adhered this layer with dimensionals to add to the depth of the scene.
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
