Sparkly Snowflakes - Stampin' Up! Snowflake Wishes

I'm still plugging away with my Christmas cards.  I'll be getting the photos of the boys that I want to include in them soon so I'll have to stop making the cards and actually get them mailed out!  But for now I'm still finding fun ways of using these snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes bundle.

I've used the cool sketch challenge that they have over at CAS(e) This Sketch.  I thought it was a fun design to have all of the elements at the top of the card.

This one is pretty basic with 2 kinds of embossing and a little sparkle added with some retired Glimmer paper.  And how cool does the Snowflake Splendor DSP look cut into strips like this.  I used one piece and just cut it into even strips but you could easily mix and match patterns too.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?

Stamps: Snowflake Wishes

Ink: Misty Moonlight, Versamark

Paper: Whisper White thick, Whisper White, Misty Moonlight, Snowflake Splendor DSP, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (retired)

Accessories: Subtle embossing folder, So Many Snowflakes dies, In Color enamel dots, dimensionals, Shimmer White embossing powder (retired)

  1. This is lovely and peaceful. That DSP really is perfect for cutting into panels and I love how the subtle folder gives the background interest without distracting from the snowflakes. Did you stamp the sentiment before you embossed the background?
