4 Square Birthday - Stamp-A-Stack

This is one of the cards we did last night at my April Stamp-A-Stack.  I wanted the theme this month to be birthdays.  I wanted one card that was definitely masculine since those are always so hard to design and I NEVER have one ready when I need it (check back tomorrow for that card!).  For the second card, I wanted the design to be for either gender....that's hard to do, at least for me.  Hopefully this is a card that you could see giving to either your uncle or to a female coworker!

First, punch out the colored squares using the 1 3/8" square punch.  Then round one corner on each with the corner rounder.  Line them up to form a larger square.  Stamp the "Celebrate You" in Chocolate Chip and punch out with the scallop circle punch.  (Hint: to punch out this image with the scallop circle punch you might have twist the image a bit to line up the letters in the scallops but it will fit!).  Stamp the little gift using Taken With Teal and then punch out with the 3/4" circle punch and adhere that to your scalloped circle.  Mount the scalloped circle on your base using dimensionals.  Then tie your Chocolate Chip satin ribbon across the bottom (I ended up using 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon for the Stamp-A-Stack cards but either looks great!). I added a birthday sentiment under the ribbon but you could leave that off and it would look fine.

Stamps: Party Hearty, A Little Birthday Cheer

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Taken With Teal

Paper: Crushed Curry, Green Galore, Chocolate Chip, Taken With Teal, Whisper White

Accessories: Scalloped Circle punch, 1 3/8" square punch, 3/4" circle punch, dimensionals, Chocolate Chip satin ribbon
