Jewel Tone Tiles - Stampin' Up! Todays Tiles

I had some fun pairing up 2 challenges over the weekend.  They both end today so I'm just in time to share it and still be current!  I used the colors from The Color Throwdown and the layout from Freshly Made Sketches.

I love these jewel tones and thought they would work really well with the Today's Tile set.  What do you think?

The card starts with a Whisper White card base, then a layer of Rich Razzleberry and then a layer of Whisper White embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.

I mixed and matched the ink colors to stamp the images using the Stamparatus and then snipped the different tiles to line them up to follow the sketch.  They are popped up with dimensionals.

The sentiment gave me the hardest time as I was trying to find one that didn't overly cover the tiles but still stand out enough.  I pulled this one from the fall set Beautiful Autumn.  It's nice and narrow yet the words are easy to read.  I embossed it in white onto Brushed Metallic Copper cardstock.  It did take me a few attempts as the Versamark ink slid around a bit on the slick surface of the cardstock.  I persevered and got a decent image.  I layered that across the panel blocks and adhered the one end with a dimensional so it's on the same level as the tiles and won't crease when it's mailed.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?
