This Christmas Pinecones - Stampin' Up! Christmas Pines

Today's card is another that we did at my October stamp club.  It's a quick layout and can look different depending on which DSP you choose.  There are so many great patterns in the This Christmas DSP collection that you could have tons of different looks.

I really like the classic winter and Christmas images that the Christmas Pines set contains.  With pine branches, pine cones, mistletoe, different sized sentiments and smaller accent stamps there are so many mix and match possibilities.  Add in the coordinating Pretty Pines thinlets (comes in a bundle to save 10%!) the sky's the limit!

The card base is Garden Green stamped with the little snowflake background also in Garden Green ink.  Then a layer of Cherry Cobbler, a slightly smaller piece of Very Vanilla and then the strips of This Christmas DSP.

The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler with little branches in Garden Green.  The circle is popped up.  The pinecones are stamped in Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake and then cut out.  They are popped up and I added a little knot of gold natural trim.

I really like the classic Christmas feel of this card and plan to make some more for my own card stash.

Don't forget that  Stampin' Up! is having the Online Extravaganza sale right now.  Be sure to check out the list for some great deals!  Maybe you have some stampers on your gift list and you can get them crossed off!  Place an order online through my store.  Just click SHOP NOW!
