Purple Blooms - Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom

The color challenge over at the As You See It Challenge has a wonderful palette for us to work with this week.  I think these are fab colors to use for a spring card and I paired them up with some gorgeous blossom images.

I'm using the upcoming Impressions Abloom bundle to put this card together.  I love the darker Gorgeous Grape and Garden Green paired with the more pastel looks of Peach Pie and Fresh Freesia.

I started with a piece of the Beautiful Bokeh DSP in Fresh Freesia for a soft background for the flowers to pop against.

I made a frame with the Impressions Abloom die set which contains this lovely "squoval" shape with a fun frame detail.  It's 2 dies so you can use either shape on it's own if you want.  I stamped the sentiment from the retired Layering Leaves stamp set in Garden Green.

The flowers are all stamped with Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape and Peach Pie.  I die cut them and also used the accent die that makes great texture marks on the petals.  I added greenery cut from Garden Green Cardstock.  The flower stem on the left are popped on dimensionals.

I cut out a some smaller flowers in Gorgeous Grape and scattered those around the card front and then added a few retired Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to finish it off.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?
