Mossy Gallery - Stampin' Up! Gallery Blooms

   After the Stampin' Up! demonstrator event OnStage attendees were able to order a select group of products even earlier than the regular demonstrator preorder.  I didn't get too much but there was one suite that really got my attention and that is the Beautiful Gallery Suite.  This suite has it all; 2 stamp/die set bundles, embossing folder, 6x6 DSP, ribbon and metallic embellishments.  So much beauty in this set of products!  I used it for the first time to make a card for the Inspire Create Challenge where they are prompting us to make a monochromatic project.  I usually find it hard to use just one color but this card came together in no time with these gorgeous new supplies.

  The color that I went with is Mossy Meadow for a nice vintage, earthy vibe.  I started with a Very Vanilla card base.  I recently got a new Online Exclusive die set that I used to cut the DSP panel.  The Textured Notes dies really makes rectangle layers pop with the beautiful textured pattern on the edges. With 8 sizes I know this set will come in handy.  The DSP is the new Beautiful Gallery 6x6, just wait until you see it in person! I backed the DSP with a piece of Mossy Meadow.

  Next I cut 2 of the large leaf shapes with the new Beautiful Motifs dies using Two-Toned Mossy Meadow paper, one with the dark side showing and the other with the light.  The fern cuts like a normal die and the wider leaf die cuts the leaf shapes but doesn't cut the whole shape out so I used my paper snips to cut around it so I could use it the same way I did the fern.

  I had an already cut label shape in my orphaned card parts bin so I grabbed that and stamped the flower image in Mossy Meadow. The leaves are lightly colored in with the light Mossy Meadow Blends marker and the blossoms with clear Wink of Stella (hard to see in the photo).

  I popped the flower up on dimensionals and added the sentiment strip, also stamped in Mossy Meadow. The sentiment comes in the other stamp set in the suite, Beautiful Motifs. Finally a fork bow (tutorial) made from the new Basic Beige Classic Ribbon is added to finish the card.  While the color listed is Basic Beige I think it matches Very Vanilla quite well also.
