Spring Gallery - Stampin' Up! Gallery Blooms

 After our super warm weather last week and through the weekend we are now back to what I would say are seasonal temperatures.  It has been cold overnight in the 30s and 40s and some of my plants and trees that had sprouted are not very happy.  I hope the crape myrtles rally after their first leaves got frosted and are now little shriveled brown things.  Fingers crossed!  I stamped some cheerful spring flowers that don't care what the temperature is!  The soon to be released Gallery Blooms stamp set was perfect to pair with the TGIF Challenge color combo.  Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Flirty Flamingo

  I used this same bundle earlier in the week on this card and you can see how versatile it is no matter what kind of look you're going for.  The pretty pastels of the challenge colors were fun to work with and you can definitely make Pool Party work for a leaf color!

  I started with a Pool Party panel embossed with the Eyelet embossing folder the I stamped the sentiment from another upcoming stamp set called Notes & Totes.  I embossed it in white onto Flirty Flamingo cardstock.  

 

  The Gallery Blooms dies have a lovely frame die that cuts 2 sizes of frames and I used the smaller one to go around my sentiment. The whole frame is popped on dimensionals.

 

  The blossoms are stamped in Memento black and then colored with Stampin' Blends.  Once they were colored I die cut them along with some leaf sprigs in Pool Party and adhered them to opposite sides of the frame.

 Finally I added some sparkle with upcoming Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gems (there are also clear/gold ones in the pack!).  These gems have little gold sparkles in them catching the light beautifully with the facets!
