Celebrate in Autumn - Stampin' Up!® Elegant Leaves

   I've got a nice masculine birthday card to share today!  The Elegant Leaves bundle continues to be well used in my stamp room and I made a stack of this design for my customer thank you cards for orders placed in September.  Everyone always seems to need ideas for guy cards so here's one that you can use for inspiration.

  I started this one with a Secret Sea card base, then a layer of Pecan Pie with a 2 1/2" circle punched (or die cut) from it.  I stamped the largest leaf overlay stamp in the same color ink.  Using a piece of Florals in Bloom DSP in a nice Cloud Cover striped pattern I adhered it to the back of the circle opening making a nice focal point for the card.

 Using Two-Toned card stock in Cloud Cover, Cajun Craze, and Golden Glow I cut out the leave shapes on the light side of the paper.  Using some adhesive sheets and cardstock in the same colors I die cut the overlay pieces and added them to the shapes.  Using cardstock made the stickers a bit more sturdy than if I had used the Two-Toned again. The leaves are popped on the card front with dimensionals.

 The sentiment from Round About Messages is stamped in Secret Sea onto Cloud Cover cardstock.  The sentiment strip is backed with a torn piece of Secret Sea to add weight and texture.

  Finally a few retired Faux Bronze Pentagons are added for a little masculine bling.
