My card today was unfortunately designed for a family member who had a trip and fall and broke bones in both their feet. What a mess! And of course with all that's going on we can't do too much to help at the moment other than wishing them well.
I used the Global Design Project sketch challenge for the layout. It was a nice design to be able to highlight the sloth with his 2 boo boo legs.
I started this one with a Soft Sea Foam card base, then a layer of Just Jade embossed with the Greenery embossing folder. The embossed layer is tilted per the sketch and then a layer of Forever Greenery DSP.
For the circle element of the sketch I used the Painted Labels dies to cut it from Soft Sea Foam.
The sloth is stamped in Memento black and colored with Blends. I stamped the cast 2 more times and then cut them out and popped them up on the 2 legs. I fussy cut the sloth also and popped it up on the circle.
And for the sentiment what more could you say for 2 broken feet other than numerous ouches??
The final touch is a black bakers twine bow on the side of the sentiment flag.
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
