A Bale of Turtles - Stampin' Up! Whale Done

You learn something new every day if you're paying attention.  I googled "what is a group of turtles called" and I got the answer; A Bale.  Cool huh?  So my card today shows off a bale of turtles in all the colors in the Whale of a Time DSP.  I'm playing along with the Global Design Project theme challenge which is "aquatic".

Besides the fussy cutting of all the turtles this is a pretty simple card.  It starts with a Pretty Peacock base topped with a layer of the Whale of a Time DSP in a Pretty Peacock tone on tone pattern.

The turtles are stamped and cut out and then popped up with dimensionals across the card front.

The sentiment from Many Mates is stamped in Versamark and embossed on Pretty Peacock DSP.  I used the Tasteful Labels dies to make the flag.  It's popped up over a length of Bumblebee twill ribbon.

I dug through my stash and found some silvery/gray adhesive sequins to scatter around the turtles.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?
