Thank You Bench

This a card that I made that combines 2 challenges from this week.  The layout is from Mojo Monday and the color combination is from ColourQ.  There's still some time to play along.  Grab your supplies and see what you come up with!

I used the 2 Tags die to make the tag out of Certainly Celery.  This particular tag is too long to be used on the card front in this layout so I just trimmed the end off and then used my corner rounder punch to re-round (is that even a word??) the corners.

The bench is stamped in Chocolate Chip onto Whisper White cardstock.  I sponged the edges in Chocolate Chip so the white wouldn't be so bright!  I added a few coordinating punched flowers with pearl centers in the lower corner.  The top of the tag uses the Blossom Bouquet Triple punch for the flower at the top.  I added a Certainly Celery button with baker's twine for more detail.

The banner is hand cut from Everyday Elegance DSP and I added a few more pearls to the end.  Above the banner is a strip of Blushing Bride that is paper pierced.  Above that is half of a scallop circle with the thank you sentiment.  I pierced each scallop and sponged the edges to help tie it in with the other elements of the card.

The card base is Chocolate Chip embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  The Mojo Monday sketches always stretch my imagination since they usually use a lot more elements and layers than I would normally think to use.  I can't decide if this whole card works or not....I like certain parts but others I'm not so sure about!  Oh well....they can't all be blue ribbon winners right?

Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
