Just a quick card to share today using the Silly Goose stamp set. It's always nice to have a few friendship cards on hand as you never know when you'll have to pop on in the mail. I used a closed Freshly Made Sketches challenge for the layout. Since the images in this set are smaller I liked the sketch for the circle which was a perfect size to make the little swimming scene.
I started with a Night of Navy base topped with a piece of Basic White embossed with the Cane Weave embossing folder. The sketch called for a band along the left side of the card so I used a strip of Butterfly Kisses DSP in a cute Calypso Coral heart pattern.
The goose is stamped in black Memento ink on Basic White and then die cut with a Stylish Shapes circle die. I added a few extra "waves" along the bottom of the circle then blended some Balmy Blue ink over the top with a mini blending brush.
I highlighted the waves with the dark Balmy Blue Blends marker and then colored in the rest of the images with Blends. I popped the circle on dimensionals and then added the sentiment in Night of Navy.
A Night of Navy baker's twine bow and some long retired candy dots used for embellishments.
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
