I've been using the Best Day stamp set a lot lately and I'm using it again for today's card. Instead of using one of the main images in the set I decided to highlight the smaller candles/sparklers stamp after seeing this fabulous card by Angela Meiritz-Reid. She used embossing for the candles/sparklers but I was designing this card for a Quick & Easy card class so I stayed with ink for a similar look using fewer supplies.
The card base is Fresh Freesia and then a panel of Butterfly Kisses DSP in a Starry Sky pattern. The candles are stamped in Starry Sky on both edges of a Basic White panel. The edges are softened a bit with some Fresh Freesia ink and a blending brush. The centers of the candle flames are highlighted with a bit of gold Wink of Stella.
I cut a label shape out of the fantastic gold Fine Shimmer paper with a retired Tasteful Label die (to recreate yours at home any label or rectangle-ish shaped die would work).
The sentiment is stamped in Starry Sky and punched out and popped on dimensionals over the top of some bunched up Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon.
A few gold adhesive sequins embellish the sentiment circle for the final detail.
Thanks for the inspiration Angela!
