Our family birthday calendar for February is jam packed so it's no surprise that I'm playing along with the Seize the Birthday challenge today to stock up so I have cards all ready to be mailed out with plenty of time to spare. The challenge is asking for a birthday card with sparkle and shine. I definitely think I've got that covered with this card!
I had a lot of fun with this challenge and I used the Rainbow Glimmer paper which I've hardly used at all but has such a fun sparkle in these awesome colors. The Brilliant Rainbow dies were used to cut the shapes and I actually made 4 of these cards and mixed and matched the the rainbow colors so each one is different.
The shine part of the challenge comes in with the Amazing Thanks dies in which I cut the top layer in Silver Foil and the bottom layer in Gorgeous Grape. I popped the sentiment up on mini dimensionals for added interest.
The 'happy birthday' is from Catch You Later and I just stamped it in Memento Black and hand trimmed it.
A few Iridescent Rhinestones add to the sparkle and shine and finish the details of this card.
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
