This card is a pretty easy one to make for Christmas if you're looking for something not too complicated to reproduce in multiples.
I started with a Pool Party base and then added a panel of Snowflake Specialty vellum in one of the flocked patterns. Just this bit of fancy paper adds a lot to the design without a lot of effort.
Next I stamped the 2 large candy canes in Sweet Sorbet and cut them out. Using the tag/candy candy slider die I cut a sentiment and threaded the Garden Green ribbon through the holes to attach it to my card front. A fork bow (tutorial here) finishes the details.
You don't need to throw everything and the kitchen sink on a card for it to be special! Use that fancy paper and have fun!
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
