The start of this week has me saying good-bye to one of my favorite mini catalog stamp sets for the newest Paper Players challenge. The Pretty Perennials set is retiring soon and I'm sad that it didn't make the new annual catalog. I thought it had a different enough look that it would make the cut but I was wrong. So I'm trying to use it a few more times before I have to say good-bye for good.
This week Claire has given us a fantastic color combination; Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Black. Awesome colors right? I had no problem using them with this stamp set and I paired it up with the Freshly Made Sketches layout.
And here is my card:
I hope you'll be able to join in on the fun with these colors and share your creation in our gallery! For more stamping inspiration you can see the design team blogs here:

Amanda, this is just perfect! I love the way you used my colors. These little flowers are so pretty and pairs perfectly with the sketch, too! The black border really makes the BB pop! Thank you for making my colors shine! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to use this floral stamp set as well as that great sketch! Lovely, cheerful and the textured background steps it up even more!

ReplyDeleteThe colors are perfect for your flowers! Such a pretty card! Glad you joined us at FMS!
ReplyDeleteTexture, color and layout! All perfect together, Amanda. The thin, black layer pops all of these bright colors. This is happy and fun without a doubt! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love that you used those beautiful flowers for the sketch! Great use of the colors too! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
ReplyDeleteI always struggle with white space and when I see other fabulous designs like this one I love it so much. Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteI will miss this set too Amanda and also thought how great these flowers would look with this week's colours - we were definitely creatively twinning this week! No surprise therefore that I love this card; those bold colours pop against the white panel and I love the DSP border too. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your bold flowers and I swear I am still hoarding some of that background DSP. The white allows your florals to shine. fabulous card
