On to the card! This little bunny makes me smile. I think it could even be a cute baby card so you wouldn't have to wait for next Easter.
The card base is Whisper White thick, then a layer of Kraft cardstock stamped with the clouds from Balloon Celebrations set. We used white craft ink.
The grass is Pear Pizzazz cardstock cut with the fringe scissors. We trimmed a bit off the top of the grass and made it slightly uneven for more interest then used the bone folder to curl it a bit (like you would use scissors to curl ribbon).
The egg is Pool party cardstock cut into an oval with the oval framelits and then embossed with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder. We cut the cracked part of the egg and then sponged Pool Party ink around all the edges.
The bunny parts are stamped in Basic Gray and punched with the Festive Flower Builder punch (love the many options this punch gives you for all kinds of projects!). The ears are colored in first with Pink Pirouette and then covered over with clear Wink of Stella. We curled the ears at the tips just a bit too.
The final detail is the little Whisper White cotton ribbon fork bow. My stamping ladies always groan when I have them make a fork bow until they are reminded how easy it is and then they are very pleased with the sweet little evenly tied bow they end up with! Check out my fork bow tutorial HERE to learn how!
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?
