But there was some time for stamping so I decided to play along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge that's closing in a few hours so I'm just in the nick of time. Using challenges really helps me this time to year to come up with some more Christmas card designs when time can be a bit short.
I wanted to use up some precut pieces of the Kraft cardstock that I had leftover from a class project from earlier in the year. I like the the combo of Kraft, white and a little splash of shiny red. There is a little bit of sponging on the edge of the Kraft panel with Whisper White craft ink.
The large snowflake, little specks of snow and "Christmas" are embossed in white and the mini snowflakes are retired sequins just glued on.
I cut out the Merry using the Christmas Greetings thinlets and the red foil paper. And the ribbon is the classic 5/8" Organza ribbon which adds a little bit of extra shine.
Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today?

I love this card, Amanda! And I love these colors together. I'm glad you were able to get this in to FMS in time.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty, Amanda! My family had the same struggle this morning. Wish I could say that I had been as motivated as you. Love this one. Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
