Festive Wreath - Stampin' Up! Wreath Builder Dies

Happy Friday stampers!  Are you ready for a weekend of stamping?  Fab Friday has a new challenge to get your creativity going.  It's a sketch challenge this time and it's sure to give you lots of ideas....check out that circle element!

I went with Christmas of course!  I counted up my cards I don't think I have quite enough yet so I'll be plugging away this weekend so I have what I need.

I have been really liking the Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Real Red combo for traditional Christmas colors and thought it would be perfect for a nice festive Christmas wreath.

I started with a Shaded Spruce base and then a layer of 'Tis the Season DSP.  Next is a panel of Whisper White embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.  I thought it echoed the plaid nicely.  The little flag is also from 'Tis the Season DSP.

The wreath is 2 layers of Just Jade cut with the Wreath Builder dies.  I staggered the placement and adhered it to the card front with mini dimensionals. To decorate my wreath I cut 3 snowflakes from Brushed Metallic cardstock and placed them around the wreath.  A sheer Real Red ribbon bow is added as well.  A few gold sequins are added to spread the gold to the rest of the card.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas in Shaded Spruce, trimmed the ends and popped it on dimensionals.

Check out the Fab Friday Design Team to see how they were inspired to use this sketch!

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?

  1. The plaid highly accents the wonder snowflake and leaf wreathe die-cuts. Superb!
